The intention is to ensure that Synod Operations be a powerful enabler creating sustainable support for mission throughout the next 10 years. The project will also create a repeatable process that Synod Operations can use to verify continual alignment with the mission of God as it is expressed through congregations and presbyteries.

We are interested in hearing staff members’ point of view about the challenges that exist in their respective areas.  This way we can discover how best we can assist in the mission work of the whole Church. Staff will be engaged in discussions around how operations can assist the Church to meet its purpose, mission and growth.

From the beginning of July the project will be working to understand how Synod Operations is currently aligned to the Church’s mission. This will be completed prior to the Synod meeting in October 2017, so that we are ready to shape Synod Operations and respond to the Pathways Project findings, and ensure alignment with the Church’s purpose, mission and growth.

All staff will receive regular updates on the progression of Stepping Stones through regular emails. Check on this page for more details as they become available.
