Our guidelines are designed to provide potential and current employers based within the Synod with a simplistic overview of what they need to consider when employing and remunerating lay people.
Lay Ministry Workers are generally employed to perform pastoral or missional tasks under the oversight of a Ministry Leader.
Lay Ministry Workers are not ordained religious practitioners.
