Confidential survey of the Synod's EAP Program
We provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that is available to all Synod entities through an external provider Assure Programs. We consider the provision of an EAP to play a key part in providing a safe and supportive work environment for all.
The EAP is designed to support staff and their immediate families in times of need through short-term, confidential counselling. Longer-term counselling needs are then referred on to the appropriate professional services (eg. conflict, anxiety, gambling, trauma, drugs & alcohol etc).
The EAP also provides support to Managers through a specialised Manager Support helpline.
We are currently reviewing the service levels provided by Assure and would welcome your feedback. This survey is optional, your responses are completely confidential and the results will only be accessed by Uniting and Synod HR Management to assess the effectiveness of our EAP Program.
The survey should only take a few short minutes to complete and the survey will remain open till 14 June.
