Using Pictures or Images from the internet
Whilst we have a wide variety of images and videos available to us on the internet, most of those images would not be covered by copyright. That means that if a church wanted to use them in a print item or their video, on their website or in the powerpoint slides during the sermon permission should be sought to use them.
A simple solution to avoid copyright infringement is to use websites which have public domain (you don’t need permission) or creative commons (permission has already been given to use the images) websites.
Some of these websites may have a section which has “free” photos and/or videos, and also a section where a licence is purchased for the download of images.
